It Just Works (ijworks.com) was created by Al Flemming with the intention to offer spiritual insight, tips, and tools in an easy to understand format. Spiritual enlightenment is for everyone. As this world is desperately in need of hope and positivity, it is also the intention of ijworks.com to be one of the vehicles that is used by people to infuse positive change in their lives and the world. It is not as difficult as sometimes presented to find spiritual fulfillment in your life regardless of your “religious” background/affiliation. Or, lack thereof.
With the goal of reaching the “regular” individual, ijworks.com will present this information via various mediums like this blog, social networks, SMS messages, podcasts, etc (see the Subscription page). In the spirit of collaboration and sharing, ijworks.com would like to share your stories or insights too! Those who would like to share can submit their content for consideration via the Contact page.

About It Just Works creator Al Flemming
I am a regular everyday down to earth guy. Really, besides using myself as a guinea pig to test out spiritual principles, I would not say that there is anything particularly amazing about me. My two sons think, and say, that I am the best dad in the world. My partner says I am awesome and he is glad that I am in his life. I accept both of those things, and say ditto to all three of them. I am incredibly blessed and my life is enriched having all three of these guys in my life. To have the opportunity to live in a safe space for all four of us, that we collectively have created with the purpose of growing and loving and nurturing each other, is overwhelmingly awesome. I am eternally grateful to the Universal Creator for all of “my boys.”
Along with being a partner and father, I am an artist and graphic designer. My hobbies are singing, creating music, and writing. This site was birthed out of a combination of my hobbies and a “trying it to see” of it really works approach to life. I “stumbled” upon New Thought and positive thinking about two years ago after going through a personal spiritual and emotional crisis. At that time, I felt like I had nothing to lose so I figured I would give all of this a shot. In my trying, I found that I really had to make all of this stuff by simplifying some of the jargon. Once I did that my life started to change for the better and I have never looked back. Nor do I plan to!
This is the part of the journey where I invite others who are on the path of enlightenment, who want more out of their lives, and want to infuse this world with all the positive energy that they can muster, to join me. We really can change the world. We really can make this a better place for all who are here. We really can influence others to make positive choices/changes in their lives as well. Come on! Let’s “try it…you’ll see!”
